Seniors Week 2023

We’re supporting Seniors Week again

Organised by Council of the Ageing (COTA), Seniors Week 2023 will be held from 16 - 22 October and is all about recognising the contributions people over 60 make in our community and coming together to celebrate all that living in Tasmania has to offer – at every stage of life.

This year’s theme is ‘Celebrate’, which acknowledges the 25th anniversary of events and experiences, helping to enhance our lives as we get older. 

Through the electricity we provide, TasNetworks proudly plays an important part in helping Tasmanians to enjoy their lives and we are dedicated to providing clean, reliable and affordable electricity to our customers.

This Seniors Week there are hundreds of events on offer around the state and we are proud to be involved in this year’s program; both as a sponsor of Seniors Week and an event provider.

Switched-on Seniors

TasNetworks has partnered with Sustainable Living Tasmania to deliver Switched-on Seniors; an information session that will help you make your home more energy efficient, comfortable and sustainable, all year round.

Switched on Seniors is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make more informed choices about your energy, so that you can take control of your energy bills. 

Join Todd, Julie, or Shayn from Sustainable Living Tasmania, to discuss the simple methods and habit changes that can help you save energy and money. We’ll bust some of the most common energy efficiency myths, dive into energy tariff options and how to switch, help you discover concessions and discounts that are available to you – and more! 

If you'd also like some additional support to make sense of your electricity bill, bring it along on the day to receive free and independent advice from the Sustainable Living Tasmania Team.
