At TasNetworks we are focussed on delivering power safely and reliably while embracing change driven by our customers. We are working hard to keep our costs and our prices as low as we sustainably can, through fully realising the benefits of our integrated network business, while delivering safe and reliable services.
We are engaging our customers in developing our plans for the future. We are investing in our people, improving our business systems and maintaining the electricity network in good order to serve our customers.
Our business strategy is summarised in our Strategy on a Page.
Our strategic goals are to:
care for our customers and make their experience easier
keep safe, build trusting relationships, and enable our people to deliver value
manage our assets to deliver safe and reliable services while transforming our business
operate our business to deliver sustainable shareholder outcomes.
Our Corporate Plan outlines the actions we are taking to achieve our strategic goals and how we measure our progress towards achieving them.
TasNetworks Transformation Roadmap
We are confident that we are on the right path to deliver our vision 'Trusted by our customers to deliver today and create a better tomorrow.'
Our business has been working together to gain a deeper understanding of our longer-term aspirations and goals and to consider our role in creating a better tomorrow for our customers.
We published a draft TasNetworks Transformation Roadmap 2025 in June 2017, which set out the longer term plans to reach our vision and how we will embrace the challenges of the future where security, affordability and sustainability will continue to be key concerns for our customers.
We have now incorporated feedback we received from customers and key stakeholders into this document. View the TasNetworks Transformation Roadmap 2025 (PDF 12MB).
The roadmap helped inform our revenue proposal for the period 2019-24 which we submitted to the Australian Energy Regulator in January 2018.
Our planning is designed around meeting your needs, so we encourage you to share your thoughts about this document with us. You can do this in many ways including through one of our engagement sessions, through the TasNetworks Customer Council, talking to us directly or simply clicking here.
